Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
We developed integrated marketing communications campaigns in partnership with Memorial Sloan Kettering/CCNY and their research collaboration Redressing Access to and Disparities in Immunotherapy for Breast Cancer (READI).were tasked to create awareness about triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and immunotherapy as a treatment option for Hispanic and Black women while empowering this community to advocate for better healthcare for themselves.
Our research revealed barriers for women that included cultural disparities, language challenges, lack of insurance coverage, migratory status, lack of awareness, disinformation, and lack of information. Our main challenges were our target audience's fear and lack of awareness/motivation to advocate for themselves in medical settings. This leads to fear of speaking up.
Love will give them the strength to endure all things. It will make them bold & brave. Love will enable them to overcome their fears and protect the ones around them. Love will Encourage them to stand up and fight against everything. It will help them speak out & defend themselves.
